Finally we get to meet Dr. Nani. I have to say the staff at FCI could not have been better. It was so nice to have people completely understand what you are going through. I love that unlike my regular ob/gyn, I did NOT have to answer, "Are you pregnant?" EVERY TIME I called to make an appointment. I know that sounds dumb but when you are having fertility issues, every time someone asks you that, its like a knife in your heart. I felt so happy and comfortable. The first month at FCI is spent doing tests. Blood work, ultrasounds, saline sonograms, sperm analysis, genetic disease carrier screenings, seriously just name it and they test for it. It makes you glad they are thorough but damn is it a long month!
